The Children’s Climate Prize is awarded to a child or young person who has done something truly extraordinary for the climate and the environment. The prize was established in 2016 to highlight a different perspective on the climate issue, recognizing that the future of children is at stake. Their voices are important and deserve to be heard.

The award ceremony is a gala event held to honor the young winners. It is a high-profile evening with a climate-related guest list including politicians, academics, business leaders, celebrities, and the media. A total of 300 guests experience the gala.

Eventum created this project in collaboration with the client Telge Energi in 2015. The responsibilities included full project management of the research and jury process, overseeing PR and social media, managing all communication with nominated winners, finalists, and winners, facilitating and preparing venues for all parts of the program, production and execution of the stage program, research and book entertainment, staffing the event throughout the week, printed materials, seating arrangements, and much more.

Telge Energi actively drives the transition by exclusively working with renewable energy. However, more needs to be done.
