1. Introduction
Eventum AB is a market-leading premium company in event and communication services that produces large and small, public and internal events with solid experience, professionalism, and efficiency.

This policy assists us in procurement processes, where we highlight our considerations in various social, environmental, and economic issues and how we address them in our daily operations.

Eventum’s business idea is to create truly impactful experiences. One way to make an impact is through consistent focus on sustainable development and demonstrating to the industry how a leading company can take real responsibility.

Below, as a customer, you can read about our ongoing work and the progress we are making.

2. Scope
From the initial customer contact to planning, procurement, and execution of an event, we must consider the stakeholders affected by our work at various levels and ensure that post-event work is carried out with the right resources for optimal execution.

As a company, we always take the customer’s wishes into account, but with our expertise, it is our responsibility to transform and improve an idea by helping our customers consider the environmental impact.

3. Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to show you, as a customer, that we are not an ordinary company among many, but rather a serious, conscious agency that cares about the consequences of irresponsible behavior. As our partner in your event, you should know that we adhere to laws, directives, and specific regulations, and feel confident in our collaboration.
Our goal is for you, as a customer, to be so satisfied that it feels natural for us to continuously assist you with your events, kick-offs, exhibitions, and similar activities, and that we work towards sustainable long-term relationships.

4. Vision
Eventum’s vision is to assume the responsibility expected of us while inspiring others to collectively improve how the industry works and evolves towards a brighter future while maintaining quality.

5. Definition of Sustainability
Avoiding the transportation of goods is inevitable, but good logistics planning provides us with opportunities to consolidate, load, and carry goods at once, thereby reducing CO2 emissions, fossil fuel usage, and wear on roads, etc.

Logistics is an important part of our operations. We acquire vehicles with minimal environmental impact, and we only send bulky and unwieldy items through large couriers while taking responsibility to carry materials ourselves during our travels, whenever possible.

Long-distance travel is booked by train unless there is an absurd difference in relevance to cost and inefficiency compared to other means of transportation.

By fostering a good working environment and maintaining high standards in our assignments, we ensure that our customers enjoy working with us as individuals and that we enjoy our work regardless of task distribution or team composition. This creates sustainability where we thrive mentally and have the physical capacity to feel energized after a day’s work.

Efficient logistics and overall efficiency also minimize strain on our backs from unnecessary repetitive lifting of the same items in multiple procedures.

6. Procurement and Partner Segmentation
When developing bids, pitching to clients, or scheduling meetings, we consider working with partners who share our belief in the importance of the environment.

Having like-minded partners provides us with good collaborative conditions and a deeper understanding of our work. Business benefits are an important part of the process and must not be overlooked, but working smart is equally as important as working hard. This approach gives us many advantages over other companies.

We aim to establish and maintain connections, grow in the market, but also remember to take on interns and act as guides for those interested in the industry. This is a responsibility we have, and it is important. We advocate for training and educating newcomers within the framework of sustainable events.

7. Follow-up
The post-event work always includes a follow-up on the sustainability policy. We evaluate what has been done and identify areas where we can improve and make changes for future events. By listening to feedback from suppliers and clients, we often gain new perspectives and ideas for working smart and efficiently. We also hope to inspire suppliers and clients to engage in sustainability issues for the future and that our work instills a strong awareness of sustainability in them.
